Pine Brook, NJ – June 4, 2009 – Let's Think Wireless (LTW), a nationally recognized leader in the design and integration of wireless networks and applications, announces that it was awarded a Video Surveillance Contract with the city of Bethlehem, PA.
The City of Bethlehem, PA required an end-to-end video surveillance solution to help secure and protect both public and private property throughout the city. LTW partnered with Intelligent Decisions (ID), a premier systems integrator and provider of innovative IT hardware, software and professional service solutions to federal, state and local governments, as well as Fortune 1000 customers. The procurement, made possible through ID's PA Department of General Services CoStars 3- IT Hardware contract, will allow LTW to design and deploy 19 wireless video surveillance cameras over the next six weeks, bringing the city's total camera deployment to 25.
The sophisticated equipment will be installed at locations around the city which include the downtown area around Main Street and Broad Street, the 3rd and 4th Street vicinity, the 5-Points area on the south side, and the area surrounding and including Yosko Park.
"The city of Bethlehem has been able to start a true Public/Private partnership by soliciting the support and contributions from various residents and business entities," said Mickey Branson, Senior Director of National Sales at Let's Think Wireless. "This partnership, which may be the first of its kind, has allowed this project to grow rapidly while putting virtual feet on the street, almost overnight."
